Yes, there is a type 1 PFD for every passenger. Along with all the requirements for a small vessel including a first aid kit.

The maximum capacity of our vessel is 12 passengers during a tour. We do not recommend children under the age of eight.

Our new palapa boats are 18′ in diameter. There is a 3′ x 6′ tiki-toilet located at the back of the vessel.

Average speed is 4-6 nautical miles per hour.

Commercial Vessels are NOT regulated the same way leisure vessels are regulated.

We do operate in the rain as the palapa boats are covered. However, the captain can decide at anytime to cancel due to conditions. This may include choppy water.

You are responsible for staying under control and abiding by our behavioral agreement. If the Captain determines your behavior is inappropriate you will be removed from the tour without refund and appropriate measures will be taken.

Yes, we do allow walk-up bookings and payment. Keep in mind that we do not guarantee there will be walk-up availability. When pre-booking, you must pay at the time of booking. You cannot reserve online and pay upon arrival.

Municipal by-law prohibits the smoking and vaping of tobacco, cannabis, and any other substance in public places and workplaces including our Tiki Boats.

Yes, we do have bluetooth-capable stereo systems that can sync to your phone and choice of music. Unless you chartered the whole boat, others may not be fans of your playlist, in which case, we use ours.

Individual tickets sold may mean that other passengers may join your tour. You may charter the full boat if you like and have up to 12 people on board. The price of a charter is the same price as 10 tickets.

You may book a Back-2-Back charter which will extend your cruise to 3.5 hours total. This is subject to availability.

CANCELATION POLICY
Cancellations with a 72 hour advance notice will result in no charge. Canceling your reservation after the 72 hour window is non-refundable unless PALAPA TOURS has to cancel the reservation. Unfortunately, this includes arriving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, arriving late, exceeding the weight limit, no shows, personal emergencies or personal mishaps. If Palapa Tours has to cancel the reservation due to inclement weather or any other reason including covid related, you may reschedule or receive a refund. Weather cancellations are determined only by Palapa Tours. Weather must be inclement at our location at your specific scheduled time. No exceptions. Thank you for understanding our policy.
